Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 5 cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some light wear to the patina along the bottom edge, consistent with age and handling. As a result of the irregularity of the blown glass base, the shade rests slightly unevenly, which could be easily remedied by adjusting the shade arms. The blown glass base is in very good condition and displays harmoniously with the shade. The blown glass with scattered minor air bubbles, particulate inclusions, and surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The blown glass surface with some scattered minor accretions and fine surface scratches, consistent with age and handling. The bronze elements are in very good condition and display with a warm brown patina, which was possibly enhanced at some point in the history of the piece. The bronze surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions, consistent with age and wear. The oil canister fits slightly loosely into the base and displays some minor movement. With a period burner outfitted with a period socket. With a later reproduction finial in very good condition.
