TIFFANY & CO. - an early 20th century platinum, diamond and ruby fob watch. The silvered and textured dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, to the circular-cut diamond and square-shape ruby chequerboard case and circular-cut diamond scalloped suspension loop. Hinge AF. Movement signed Tiffany & Co New York, Extra Adjusted 49774. Dial signed Tiffany & Co. French assay marks. Length 3.8cms. Total weight 19.3gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Hinge to case currently at fault, reverse detaches completely, will require attention.

Diamonds and rubies well matched.
Diamonds of overall good clarity, with only minor inclusions visible under 10x magnification.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Rubies are a deep, slightly pinkish red hue, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

Stones in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the facet edges.

Dial in fair condition with noticeable scratches in reflected light.
