TRUE CROSS RELIC CRUCIS D.N.J.C. WAX SEAL

Antique True Cross Reliquary / Relic with seal in the original leather travel case. Relic reads Crucis D.N.J.C. mean "Wood from the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ.". In a 800 silver with gold vermeil filigree case with green stones around the face. Inside the back is the original wax seal with strings still intact. The wax seal features the Redemptorist motto, which has the symbol of the cross, surmounted by the 'Eye of providence' symbol, all beneath a Crown, and the Latin motto ' Copiosa Apud Eum Redemptio, (With him there is plentiful redemption).In case 2 1/2"x2 1/2".
