Lot of two original 18th century hand colored botanical etchings. Beautiful colors. Als eine Beilage zu diesem Werke, heraus gegeben und Sr. Durchlaucht dem regierenden Herrn Herzog von Wirtemberg unterthänigst zugeeignet. From the works of Gottlieb Friedrich Abel and L.D. Reitter. Includes "Cornus Mascula der Kornelkirschenbaum", and "Crataegus aria der maulbeerbaum". Both framed in matching gilded wood frames, matted. Frames measure a total of 25" tall x 22" wide. Each print measures (sight) 10.75" tall x 8.25" wide. Condition: minor signs of use to frames, very slight discoloration to paper of "Crataegus aria der maulbeerbaum" in lower right and left corners, see images. Weight: 18 lbs.
