TWO AMERICAN MASONIC TEMPLAR KNIGHTS CEREMONIAL SWORDS

Ca. the mid-late 19th century AD. A pair of antique American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial swords with etched decorated blades. One holds the following lettering: Trinity Encampment, Manchester N. H. 1857, and a Passion Cross image. Manufactured by Ames Manufacturing Company, Chicopee, Massachusetts. Goes with a leather scabbard, while the other has a brass scabbard with rings. Both have wood handles with brass knight head pommels, and guards feature images of eagles with stars to the edges. Condition: Very goodSize: L: 34 5/8 in., (88 cm); 1660gProvenance: Property of a Central London Gallery, acquired on the US art market.
