Two Chinese blue and white vases, the first a moon vase having Ming style dragon handles and decorated with lotus and peony scrollwork; the second of pear form with a flared rim decorated with five clawed writhing dragons contesting a pearl of wisdom, each having a blue underglaze six character Qianlong style seal mark underneath.
Approximate dimensions: moon h. 12.75", w. 9.5", d. 5"; pear h. 11. 75", dia. 6.25".
Condition Report: Moon -- h. 0.50", l. 2.33" chip in foot rim, allover scuffs to glaze. Pear -- Allover heave scuffing to surface, craquelure, no chips or losses.
