Possibly Iran and Anatolia, 11th - 12th century and later
Comprising two small circular dishes, both with flat everted rims, one worked in the typical Khorasani style, with copper inlay and an engraved sphinx in the central roundel, the latter engraved with a similar design in the centre and a band of floriated pseudo-calligraphy around the central roundel, the largest 18cm diam; and a brass candlestick, on a circular base, with ringed neck, 16cm high.
