the first, of rectangular form, apparently unsigned, the surface lightly hammered with a Tudor rose on the lid, the sides with applied borders with spaced 'nails' all terminating in flaring feet, the interior with wood lining.; together with another rectangular box, also unsigned, with strapwork binding to cover and two spheres to end of hinged part of lid, with applied flaring feet, the surface with hammered decoration and crimped rims to rims of cover (2)
Dimensions: The smaller: 2 x 5 x 6 3/4 in. (5.1 x 12.7 x 17.1 cm.), The larger: 2 1/2 x 6 x 8 1/4 in. (6.4 x 15.2 x 21 cm.)

Condition: Both in good condition. Box with Tudor rose on lid, has partial wood lining.
