The famille rose 'laughing Immortal twins' are colourfully robed and modelled seated on rocky bases. The Dehua twins are modelled standing on plinths and are covered all over in a white glaze, one slightly more creamy in tone than the other. The twins carry a variety of objects including a lotus stem, leaves and a bowl.
