TWO FAMILLE ROSE DISHES WITH BOYS, REPUBLIC PERIOD

The first dish is decorated on the interior with boys at play in a garden setting below a floral border at the rim. The base is inscribed with four characters reading lin zhi cheng xiang (congratulate for the birth of a son). The second dish is decorated on the interior with boys at play in a garden setting with a lotus pond. The base has an apocryphal Qianlong mark.

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
