TWO FAMILLE VERTE 'FLORAL' DISHES, 17TH CENTURY
One dish is decorated to the centre with a star-shaped panel on a trellis ground enclosing a multitude of scattered flowers. The rim is decorated with a band of flowers. The reverse is decorated with three flower sprays and the base bears a Kangxi six-character mark within a double circle and a channelled footring. The other dish is decorated with a peony, chrysanthemum and prunus spray on a diaper ground, the rim is decorated with a band of flowers. The reverse is decorated with flower sprays and bears a shop mark in underglaze blue.
