Both figures are cast seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with their bejewelled body draped in long robes. The larger gilt-lacquered figure of Akshobhya is shown with hands in bhumisparsa mudra. The smaller figure of Tara is shown with hands held in dhyana mudra.
