the egg by Fabergé, workmaster Alfred Thielemann, St Petersburg, 1908-1910, of violet chalcedony with a cross-shaped diamond-set mount, struck on the loop with workmaster's initials, 56 standard; one St Petersburg, circa 1890 the hammered gold surface centred with a cabochon sapphire and topped with a diamond-set bow, struck on the loop with unidentified initials, possibly ML (Cyrillic), 56 standard

Condition Report:
Both with minor surface wear and scratches, consistent with age and use. The chalcedony egg with a few missing rose cut diamonds, two small surface dents and an area of internal discolouration, probably due to impact.
