TWO LARGE EARLY FAMILLE ROSE 'FISHERMEN' DISHES
Yongzheng Period
extremely well painted in a continuous scene across the dish, in pastel enamels with three fishermen with lines and nets wading purposefully in a shallow river towards two fish, a rocky promontory nearby with two figures behind a straw fence and thatched building, two cranes flying above and various foliage, grasses and trees to the borders, below a brown-dressed rim, the exterior plain.
