TWO LARGE EARTHENWARE PLATES (GHOTAR), MOROCCO, 20TH CENTURY. Polychrome glazed decoration; the first features a central geometric composition reminiscent of a labyrinth, interwoven with stars, reminiscent of Moroccan zellige patterns; the second, glazed in yellow, green, and blue, with a pattern of sequins surrounding a hexagon within an eight-pointed star. Chip and chip on the rim of the first. Heights: 8 and 5 cm. Diameters: 40.5 and 38.5 cm.
