Ogata Gekko (Japanese 1859-1920), two framed Japanese woodblock book plates, the first depicting a Japanese mounted archer, the second depicting a nobleman in a carriage, with a swordsman outside, both from the book "Pictures of Eminent Japanese Ancient and Modern," published in 1888, both in gilt frames under glass.
Approximate dimensions: h. 7.5", w. 11"; overall h. 18.25", w. 20.75", d. 1.25".
Condition Report: Not examined out of frames. Both appear to have been partially glued down, some bubbling of the paper, toning and mat burn.
