TWO PALESTINIAN BEADED HATS
Palestine, mid 20th century
Comprising two beaded hats, made from mesh and worked in an open-lace pattern, the surface covered in clusters of tiny beads, one in deep-red, maroon and brick, interspersed with patches of yellow, orange, blue and green, the second with concentric rings around a small center hole, with triangles, zigzags and diamond shapes radiating outward, worked in blue and white beads.
