TWO WEDGWOOD LIGHT-BLUE SOLID JASPERWARE TWO-HANDLED VASES AND TWO COVERS circa 1790, impressed uppercase marks and incised cypher, of shield shape with upright white loop handles, the later replacement conical covers with ball finials, the slender necks with stiff leaf-tips and beaded collar, the shoulder with a guilloche band, each body applied in white relief with a view of either the distraught love struck Charlotte being consoled or with her kneeling at the Tomb of Werther, on a socle foot and shaped square base, h: 10 in.
