Wallace Nutting (American,founded 1917). Group of two similar wooden fan back side chairs, both having carved ears, turned supports and legs and shaped seats. One possibly American, 19th century. One stamped "Wallace Nutting", the other marked"From Mrs. H", "IWJ" and "546". Approx. of the largest (Nutting), h. 41", 24", d. 19"; seat h. 18". Provenance: From the Estate of Jack Warner / The Warner Foundation, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Condition Report: Both with overall wear to finishes; Wallace Nutting chair with repair to back leg; both stable.
