Table (1) - Walnut - Late 19th century

Beautiful wide round table height 74 cm, top diameter 86 cm, tripod diameter 50 cm, excellent table top. Tripod with embossed column. Made of solid walnut wood, with dovetail joints for both the horizontal top and the vertical top joints. The screws are original flat-head screws (except for one that was added in about 1960 to steady the plane axis) . The support column is splendid, without defects; ditto the top, both in the visible part and in the lower part. The tripod is splendid, one of the three legs was fixed in the 1960s (with flat head screws) , as the pivot had given way. Overall it is an excellent piece and comes with complimentary amaranth table felt.
