circa 1900, marked ‘Made in France’, brass and porcelain, stepped round base with relief ornamental friezes, a porcelain plaque set in the centre depicting a polychrome Watteau scene in copper transfer print, and a side lamp arm in the form of a climbing tendril with four large, colourfully decorated porcelain flowers in the Vincennes style, metal leaves and a crowning candle holder, mounted on a round white marble plinth with four brass feet, restored in the past and fitted with a single electric bulb, flowers showing minimal chipping, otherwise in good condition for its age and fully functional, H 29 cm.
