A Transitional gilt-bronze mounted and tulipwood table tambour

CONDITION REPORT :
Poor overall condition. Wears to the gilding which is tarnished and rubbed. The pierced gallery surronding the table top is warped. The gilt-bronze of the keyhole is detached from the door and will need to be refixed. Accidents to the hinges of the front door. Shrinkage cracks, losses and splits to the veneer throughout. The veneer is sunfaded with traces of uplifting in places. The two front legs are loose and slighthly detached from the lower strut ; they could benefit from consolidation. Sold as is.
