Tabletop clock - Louis Philippe - Bronze (gilt), Ormolu, Porcelain - Early 19th century

A LOUIS-PHILIPPE ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK THE MOVEMENT BY OPPENHEIM. Made in 1825 by Phillipe H. Mourey. Fantastic, French, table or mantel clock in mercury gilded bronze and Sevres porcelain plates, from the second half of the 19th century. The machinery is Paris type with 8 days winding and a chime for hours and half hours. It is in perfect working conditions, and its pendulum and key are included. Its physical appearance is splendid and the operation is super reliable. Its base is polygonal with ornamental motifs that reflect a song to nature, very typical of Romanticism. It has bulky ornaments on the upper part, and the sides of the box that houses the dial are decorated with bucolic-musical sculptures, instruments surrounded by vegetation. The Sevres porcelain plates show different types of polychromy of small flowers. The dial is made of Sévres porcelain, with Roman numerals in Prussian blue enamel.
