Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 156 (163) x 98 cm, modern, medallion carpet of the finest Persian colour and knotting quality with complex design by the well-known carpet designer “Tarhe Benam” from the “SKH” workshop, the warp threads and many details of the pattern are executed in silk, finest wool quality, brocaded ends, with the signature: “Iran Tabriz, Tarhe Benam”, with 1 million knots per sq m; condition as new.
