Hand-knotted circular carpet, the black field with an allover design of scrolling vine, palmettes and rosettes in gold, sage, rose and ivory. Broad camel-ground border of palmettes on a leafy vine, within narrow floral guard stripes. Wool pile on a cotton foundation, with fringe around the perimeter. Indo-Persian, ca. 1990's
