The first Carrera was released by Heuer in 1963 with its main focus on legibility, accomplished through a very simple dial design. The result was the very essence of a tool watch for timing race cars. The present example, the modern version of the original Carrera, exhibits a similar case shape and dial design. It remains a sporty and classically cool watch at its core. Accompanied by Tag Heuer box.
Condition Report: Brown dial in good condition. Luminous material in hands intact and in nice condition. Some scratching on case and deployment clasp commensurate with wear. Exhibition case back. Watch running at time of cataloging. Overall in nice condition.
