Item/Description: Japanese woodblock night scene of Mabashi Tokyo by Takahashi Shotei. Titled: "Night Scene of Mabashi, near Tokyo" or "Country by Night". Red seal stamp and signature upper left.
Hiroaki Takahashi (Japan, 1871-1945) As with many Japanese woodblock artists over his lifetime he signed his work with various names and worked for several publishing companies. Shotei recreated prior designs destroyed in the Great Kanto earthquake and also produced many new woodblocks.

Material: Japanese Woodblock Print, framed under glass.

Condition: Minor wear to frame, art not examined out of frame.
