Talbot Model No. 41 German Silver Casting Reel

A special example that features the famed Abercrombie & Fitch logo stamp in addition to the "football" style logo that reads "Wm. H. Talbot Reel Co. - No. 41 - Nevada, MO" on this 2 1/8" diameter, 1 5/8" wide spool reel, serial numbered 5381. Equipped with fancy click and drag switches, finely knurled screw-off end caps, a 6 o'clock positioned handle with original grasp and a dished tail plate, and full-length foot with the "Pat. Jan 22, 1901" stamp on the underside. Condition is about VG+ with very fine pitting on the tail plate and light oxidation.
