Tall Antique 19thC Carved Pine Pedestal Lectern w/Locking Ballot Box Compartment. Ca. second half 19thC. Very good with no breaks or repairs, may have been painted, now the surface is natural pine. Very attractive, and would look even better with Briwax. Scarce form, was recently used as a plant stand.
