Tapestry fragment with exotic birds and palm trees - Napoleon III - Wool - Second half 19th century

Beautiful French tapestry complete Aubusson, entrefenetre, period 1850, Napoleon III, wool, special size 300 x 165 cm. Very finely made. The tapestry represents life in a country surrounded by nature. Oxen, birds and figures form the background to the magnificent wingspan of the crane in the foreground. Medieval walls and towers in the background, trees and palm trees. With a floral border, rich in leaves that run all around the tapestry, elegant and refined. The border corners are marble pedestals from which depart branches of flowers. State of preservation: the tapestry is in excellent condition, there are no missing parts or restorations. Better to wash it to make the colours brighter, it is ready to be hung. On the back is lined with cotton canvas. Please look carefully at the pictures that are an integral part of the description.
