Taxidermy: A Late Victorian European Hoopoe (Upupa epops), circa 1880-1900, a full mount adult looking straight ahead, perched atop a moss covered painted faux rock, enclosed beneath a period oval glass dome, with original ebonised base, 23cm by 12cm, overall height 37cm

Glass dome in good condition, no cracks, bird specimen in poor condition, showing signs of amateur repairs and regluing. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.
