Full body mount,
240cm high, 190cm long overall
Provenance: This stag is possibly unique and the only full body white stag we know of. Originally imported from the Royal Park in Copenhagen. He was bought to Aynhoe to improve the herd with his beautiful coat and spectacular antlers. The heraldic symbol of King Richard II referred to as the Unicorn of the deer world. This is a superb specimen and unlikely to be equalled. He died of exhaustion after the rut in 2017.
Condition Report:
Oversized watch not working and with a cracks to the glass and some wear to the strap.
Stag with some minor losses to fur.
Otherwise generally fair condition overall.
