A Tayma dish from the vicinity of the Tayma oasis in the Iron Age. Tayma is located in the North-East of Saudi Arabia along the trade routes with Medina. It was inhabited very early, since the Bronze Age, because of its oasis in the Nefud desert. From the Iron Age pottery has been preserved, such as this bowl with geometric decorations. It has been restored. Similar objects can be found in the National Museum in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Bought by the current owner in 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium.
