Outstanding Tea and Coffee Set in embossed and engraved silver, decorated with plant motifs. Spouts shaped as fantasy animals. The set is made up of four pieces, each showing the silver fineness hallmark 800 plus an almost illegible silversmith mark inside a diamond shape with fasces (which means that the set was made before 1945) . Dimensions (in the following order: height, width including handle, width without handle, base diameter) . 1. Coffee pot approx. 25 x 25. 5 x 15 x 11 cm; weight 1170 grams. 2. Tea/chocolate pot approx. 24 x 28 x 17 x 11 cm; weight 1232 grams. 3. Milk jug approx. 15 x 15. 5 x 11 x 9. 5 cm; weight 556 grams. 4. Sugar bowl approx. 17 x 16 x 12 x 9 cm; weight 552 grams. Total weight: approx. 3510 grams. With a nice vintage patina. Provenance: from a private collection; the set was purchased at an auction by Pandolfini, Florence, Italy.
