Tea service, Silver tea service (5) - .800 silver - Italy - Mid 20th century

Handmade heavy solid silver tea set with rings in the handles. Made in Italy circa 1950 and with a total weight of 2. 4 kilos! All in the shape of a polyloid amphora, with lightly curled handles in which the ivory is beautifully crafted. The lids are beautifully curvaceous and on top are flower pistils. All are beautifully made with great detail. Marking on the bottom. The tableware has never been used and looks stunning, it has no flaws or damages. The serving tray is 54 x 33 cm and after 110 years of relocation, has light scratches on the bottom. The origin of this showpiece is of a noble family from Piedmont, descendant of Savoy.
