Signs of wear; hinge pins bent. H. 42 cm. Approx. 2,080 g.
Longitudinally oval, slightly bulbous body on a recessed base, with a curved spout and loop handle. Sides feature godron decoration, medallions on the front and back, and festoon trim. Hinged lid. The water pitcher can be used in two ways: inside the pitcher is a closed tube into which an electric heating element was inserted or charcoal pieces were placed; the other option is the spirit burner in the rechaud (see p. 109, Florian Dering, M. T. Wetzlar).
