Marvellous teapot in antique English silver, richly decorated with a floral-themed engraving. Manufactured by Benjamin Smith, silversmith in London, 1807, under the aegis of King George III. Benjamin Smith is one of England's most important silversmiths, born in 1764 and active from 1790 to 1823. His company, along with Paul Storr, produced almost entirely for Rundell and Bridge. Among the most important items manufactured by the company, the 1803 Jamaica Service which is part of The Royal Collection. Length 28. 5 cm Overall weight: 608 grams In good condition, it shows a tiny dent. Weight, flaw and hallmarks are shown in pictures. Insured and tracked registered shipping.
