Sugar or sweets container, in solid silver and cobalt blue Baccarat crystal, beautiful decoration in the Empire style - post Egypt campaign, period: late 19th century or around 1900. Very fine openwork carvings. Lid with laurel crown finial. It bears the Minerva 1st grade hallmark and the hallmark of silversmiths Paul Canalaux and Co. (active company between 1889 and 1911) .
