TENIERS, David II (after) Interior with witches. Etching, 21 x 29,5 cm, velin paper, signed in plate at lower left edge (brown toned paper). Interior scene with witches and devils preparing for the Sabbath. Teniers also made a smaller vertical etching with the same subject (Hollstein XXIX:19). This etching is related to a 1633 painting from Tenier's workshop, now in the Musée de la Chartreuse in Douai. A 19th-century impression. Ref. Not in Hollstein. Prov.
