Provenance: Terry Johnson (b. 1938), singer, songwriter, arranger and music producer, is best known as a member of The Flamingos. In 1996, Terry Johnson and the surviving members of the Flamingos were awarded the Rhythm & Blues Foundation's Pioneer Award. In 2001, Terry Johnson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His classic recording, " I Only have Eyes for You" of 1959, was inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame in 2003. The Flamingos and Terry Johnson are still recording and have an active performance schedule.
