Southeast Asia, Thailand, Ban Chiang, 1st millennium BCE. An attractive pottery vessel of an elegant form comprised of a bulbous bottom, corseted shoulder, tubular neck, and gently flared mouth. An intricate red-on-cream painted decorative program adorns the neck and shoulder. Size: 7.5" in diameter x 5.75" H (19 cm x 14.6 cm)

Provenance: private Southern Florida, USA collection, acquired 1980s
