The Disney Store - Pair of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Display Figures (Walt Disney, c. 1988). The iconic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse don fancy outfits in this fantastic pair of fiberglass display figures created by the Walt Disney Company in 1989. These figures measure approximately 27" tall by 16" wide, and 26" tall by 14" wide. They feature cloth elements. Mickey bears an inscription on the bottom of his foot that reads, "Walt Disney Co. 1988." Minnie has swivel joints in places which appear to be posable, and may have been part of a moving display at Disneyland or The Disney Store. Display figures like these were never sold to the general public, and they are considered exceptionally rare finds for collectors. The figures show handling with light chips and scuffs from use, and there is some light toning on Minnie's face.
