The Doors Original Photographs by Joel Brodsky

Superb set of four original semi-glossy 11 x 14 silver gelatin portraits of Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore shot in New York City in 1967 by the photographer most clearly associated with their record covers, Joel Brodsky. Brodsky photographed The Doors for nine of their different record covers. The four photographs present an interesting contrast in composition—Manzarek, Krieger, and Densmore are seen head-on against a stark white background, while the enigmatic Morrison sits at an angle and is shrouded in shadow against a black background._x000D_

These beautiful prints came from the estate of the foremost collector of Doors memorabilia and photographs, and are clearly original prints made from the actual negatives. There are no credits on the back, only negative/inventory numbers written in pen. As we have not been able to find these exact images elsewhere, they may very well be unpublished. In overall fine condition.
