The Doors: Uncut proofsheet for FD-50, signed by Victor Moscoso, 1967
An uncut, first-printing proof sheet comprising one poster, six postcards and two tickets for Family Dog Presents The Doors, Country Joe and the Fish and Sparrow at the Avalon Ballroom, March 3-4, 1967, known as FD-50, signed by the poster's designer, Victor Moscoso.
28 x 20.5 in.
After a poster was printed, the printer would take all the parts used to create the print, wrap them up in a package of construction paper and tape an uncut proof sheet to the exterior. That way all the pieces would be together if another print run was needed. This is the reference proof that was taped to the parts for FD-50.
