Condition Report:
The copper support is uncradled and planar, with one small old bend at the extreme upper left corner. It supported on its reverse by a piece of cardboard, though not attached. The painting reads well overall, and the details remain crisp and the colors vibrant. The paint surface is stable overall. Only one very small pin-dot of loss is visible at the center of the left edge. Inspection under UV reveals a slightly milky varnish that impedes some inspection. An area of restoration fluoresces near the center of the left edge and in the lower left corner. There are some scattered very small dots of cosmetic restoration in some of the figures and animals. Some additional fine strokes at the top of the cornucopia at left and in the rock near the dog at lower left. The painting is ready to hang. Offered in a dark wood frame with decorative molded and painted elements.
