The Laocoön – A late 20th century Spanish 915 standard silver mantle clock, circa 1980 The rectangular pedestal base raised upon four stylised classical dolphin feet with scallop shell and scroll supports, the front with the mask of a ram’s head above a rocaille shell and flanked by foliage. The top with a cast version of the famous Greek Hellenistic marble sculpture the Laocoön and his Sons. Fitted with a Quartz movement. Marked to the back of base. Height – 36.1 cm / 14.25 inches
