The Musky Charmer Minnow
Without question, one of the rarest of all musky baits is this 5 1/4" lure from the Charmer Minnow Co., of Springfield, Missouri. Finished in a solid gray/green head with the rear body section painted in barber pole red stripe over orange, large blemish free glass eyes, see-through wire rigging and twin Charmer props, this exact lure is pictured on page 155 of Edmisten & Murphy's Fishing Lure Collectibles. In about Ex- condition with light wear/soiling and common age lines on the rear section. There are a handful of Musky Charmers residing in important collections, this being the only musky Charmer with a striped tail that we are aware of, making this bait the rarest of the rare.
