[ translate ]

The Book of Regulations of the Kehilat Ya'akov Association of Jerusalem.
The goal of the association is "the moral and physical revival of the sons of Zion and to settle them on the Land of Israel, to till and to keep it, enjoy our labor and observe the Mitzvot applicable in the Land of Israel". Jerusalem, 1909. Single, rare edition, of which not many copies have been preserved.
The booklet was printed during a special historical period, the Constitution (the revolution of the young Turks that led to a change in the system of government in the Ottoman Empire) which enabled Jews to legally immigrate to the Land of Israel and settle it. The Jewish Yishuv in the Land of Israel celebrated the event and many Jews indeed immigrated.
On the front cover of the booklet (!) as well as in it, there are warm letters of recommendations by the rabbis of Jerusalem, who encouraged the revolutionary process: Rabbi Chaim Berlin, the Natziv's son, Rabbi Ya'akov David the Ridbaz, Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham Diskin, rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook and Rabbi Nachman Batito.
Green cover. A special title page decorated with verses of redemption.
