The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet - Presented to Brian Jones - Official In-House award - 1968/1968

ROLLING STONES 1968 "BEGGAR'S BANQUET. " Back from their "roll in the hay" with psychedelia and back into the mainstream. It was their last recording session and album with the original FIVE Stone's and Brian Jones. Jones died a somewhat "mysterious" death just after the album was released. The history of the Beggar's Banquet recording sessions which took place from March - July of 68 was no mystery at all, however. Jones was high and off his rocker during that period. He showed up when he wanted to unlike the rest of the band. He brought unusual instruments from Sitars to homemade fabricated percussion instruments, insisting on using them. Richards and Jagger basically threw him out repeatedly or tried to. He was reportedly a major pain in the Stones' collective arses. Fate or otherwise, he mysteriously drowned at the time of the release and a celebration. It's worth reading up on. Beggars Banquet was certified gold by R. I. A. A. on December 23, 1968Postage is secured and tracked
