The three Marys at the Tomb. 17th c Drawing, pen and black ink, brush with red and brown gouache, heightened with white, 19 x 28,4 cm, laid paper, unsigned (heavily creased at lower right corner, sm. def. at upper right edge, sm. creases throughout, some min. dampstaining). Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout. The three Marys visiting the tomb of Jesus, carrying a jar of ointment (Mark 16:1). Two radiant angels await them. The well-balanced composition is executed with great care and detail.
